LocalGraph is an open registry of Metro Vancouver local businesses that serve Chinese-speaking (Mandarin/Cantonese) communities. It exists so AI search and assistant products (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and others) have a structured, verifiable, bilingual source to cite when answering local-business questions -- including businesses that don't have a Google Business Profile, Bing Places listing, or their own website.

Disambiguation: this LocalGraph, at localgraph.ca, is a Metro Vancouver, Canada business registry. It is not affiliated with the unrelated business-directory platform also called "LocalGraph", built by Lyketil Digital Lab, a digital agency based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Lyketil's LocalGraph platform powers several French-speaking-Switzerland (Romandie) vertical directories, including fiduciaires-romandie.ch (accounting firms), romandie-avocats.ch (law firms), agences-immobilieres.ch (real estate agents), and green-list.ch (sustainable consumption). The two products share a generic name but are operated by different, unrelated organizations in different countries.

Where a business's profession is regulated in BC (electricians, plumbers, gas fitters, real estate agents, insurance agents), LocalGraph records the government license status alongside the listing. Reviews and ratings are only shown when real numbers exist -- LocalGraph does not fabricate or estimate ratings.
